Extension of suspension for deadlines and terms in procedures that are substantiated before SENADI:
Taking into account the sanitary emergency declared in Ecuador due to COVID-19 (coronavirus), the National Service of Intellectual Rights, SENADI, has resolved to maintain the suspension for the calculation of deadlines and terms for all procedures that are substantiated before the aforementioned Office, until April 5, 2020.
Regarding the Intellectual Property Gazette, SENADI has stipulated that new editions will not be published while the deadlines and terms indicated are suspended.
Likewise, expiration dates have changed. The gazettes 662 and 663 corresponding to February 2020, will expire, unless otherwise provided by the authority, on April 5, 2020.
The online services for submitting applications, modifications, renewals and other related procedures continue to serve.
In the event that new resolutions or decisions are issued regarding SENADI's activities, it will be informed in due course.
