FERRERE worked with the Andean Development Commission (CAF) on compliance with regulatory requirements and preparation of the documentation necessary for its registration as Securities Market Issuer in Paraguay. Additionally, FERRERE advised CAF on the launch of its first global issue in local currency on the Asunción Securities Exchange.
Since 2017, FERRERE has been working actively with the securities market regulator to establish appropriate regulations for multilateral organizations in Paraguay. With CAF’s registration, there are now three multilateral organizations registered as securities issuers in the country, with the support and guidance of FERRERE.
This successful registration reflects Paraguay’s efforts to promote economic growth and attract foreign investment, and at the same time underscores the importance of solid legal guidance when it comes to navigating complex regulatory processes.
FERRERE’s advice was led by partner Carlos Codas and attorney Pamela Lezcano.
