FERRERE worked with Crane Currency, a world leader in designing banknotes with micro-optics security, software development, specialized papermaking and advanced note printing, with a presence in the United States, Chile, Guyana, Ghana and Aruba, among others, on its bid process with the Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB). The project’s scope is a historic milestone for the country, in that it includes design and production of new Bolivian banknotes in the context of the country’s bicentennial commemoration.

FERRERE’s advice included support throughout the full bid process, as well as on the award and signature of the contract with the BCB. Additionally, the team worked on analysis and fulfillment of all requirements of the process, as well as on drafting and coordinating corporate presentations leading up to the contract award.

The FERRERE team, with broad experience in international public tenders, was headed up by the attorney Jorge Palza, with the following team of practitioners: Diego Villarroel, María Laura Aguirre and Ericka Mendoza.
