FERRERE acted as transactional attorneys on a deal in which a group of banks, including Sumitomo and Bank of America, granted Alicorp a line of credit for approximately USD 220 million, for refinancing existing debt and other corporate objectives.
Alicorp is a Peruvian company in the retail sector. The loan, which closed at the end of August, was issued in two parts. In the first, Alicorp obtained a USD 120 million renewable line of credit at three years. In the second, in turn, it was a USD 100 million line of credit at five years.
