FERRERE advises ueno bank and Visión Banco on their merger process

The FERRERE Paraguay team advised Ueno Bank S.A. and Visión Banco S.A.E.C.A. throughout their historical merger process. Ueno Bank S.A. acted as the absorbing entity, thereby becoming Paraguay’s largest bank by client portfolio and solidifying its position as the country’s first digital bank.

The FERRERE team, in coordination with Gross Brown, advised both financial entities from the initial structuring of the transaction through completion of the merger. Consequently, Paraguay’s Central Bank authorized the merger by absorption of Ueno Bank S.A. and Visión Banco S.A.E.C.A through Resolution No. 22, Minutes No. 27 dated June 21, 2024.
