FERRERE Abogados (Paraguay) has promoted corporate lawyer Marysol Estigarribia to the partnership, making her the first female partner at the Asunción office.
Estigarribia’s practice includes corporate and employment law, M&A deals for multinationals and domestic clients and telecoms law. “Marysol has been instrumental to the impressive growth that our Paraguay office has enjoyed in the recent years,” says Andrés Cerisola, managing partner of FERRERE, who is based in Montevideo. “She has brought additional firepower in terms of impeccable execution in both corporate and employment matters.”
Estigarribia is the third partner at the Paraguayan firm, after former Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP associate and corporate finance lawyer Carlos Vasconcellos was made partner last February, joining office head Néstor Loizaga.
Estigarribia, 35, was promoted on 1 February. Her addition brings the headcount of female partners across FERRERE’s offices to six.
