Erika Bañuelos leads the FERRERE tax and customs practice in Paraguay. She advises on corporate restructurings and tax optimization for clients. She assists clients with tax, customs and juridical authorities in administrative and contentious administrative matters.
She teaches courses on the Corporate Legal Regime at the School of Administration of Universidad Nacional de Asunción. She is also IBFD correspondent in Paraguay and is the author of technical articles on tax matters.
She is a lawyer and notary who graduated with honors from Universidad Nacional de Asunción and holds an LLM in International and European Tax Laws, specializing in customs law and international trade, from Maastricht University in the Netherlands.
