Tax Firm of the Year, both in Bolivia and Paraguay, were two of the recognitions for FERRERE at the ceremony held in New York by International Tax Review (ITR), in the context of the ITR Americas Awards 2022.
At the gala, which highlighted the achievements and performance of Tax teams and practitioners in the Americas for the past year, FERRERE was also recognized regionally as Firm of the Year for the Pro Bono work it does in the jurisdictions where it is present.
At individual level, ITR distinguished Laura Caffera, an attorney with broad experience in Uruguay, as Indirect Tax Rising Star at Latin American level.
The publication analyzes candidatures from over 20 countries and hundreds of practitioners, and the winners are announced at a gala that has been held annually for nearly two decades.
With a presence in Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay, FERRERE has a regional Tax practice that advises clients on all their tax needs, participating in the structuring of transactions, ranging from mergers and acquisitions to obtaining tax benefits for investment projects. It regularly structures project financing, designs financial products, analyzes transfer pricing and implements real estate developments.
