The FERRERE partner and leader of its regional Litigation and Arbitration team, Sandra González, was reelected as Vice President of the Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce for a second three-year term. The FERRERE attorney thus renews her mandate, which began in 2021, until 2027.
The ICC World Council once again elected Court members, who include 191 arbitration practitioners from 119 countries. The Council also confirmed the reelection of Claudia Salomon as President of the institution for the 2024-2027 period. Salomon had made history three years ago when she became the first woman to hold that post.
“I am very grateful and proud to continue as Vice President of an institution that has been at the forefront, with leadership and responsibility, in responding to global challenges in commerce and investment. As it has done over its 100-year history, the ICC, and the Court, will continue to play a key role in business development in a world constantly demanding more and better international arbitration,” said González.
