Agustina Pérez Lete

Agustina Pérez Lete has been a member of the FERRERE Energy & Infrastructure group since 2012.

Agustina regularly assists a broad variety of local and international public and private sector companies on the development, construction and operation of energy and infrastructure projects in the country, including wind and solar parks, transmission lines, construction of social infrastructure and transportation projects).

She has participated actively on the advisory team to financing entities (Inter-American Development Bank, Corporación Andina de Fomento and DEG - Deutsche Investitions - und Entwicklungsgesellschaft MBH, on the structuring of complex energy and infrastructure project financing. Agustina has worked on various transactions that have been highlighted in diverse legal publications.

Agustina graduated as attorney from Universidad Católica de Uruguay (2011). She obtained her Master of Laws with specialization in International Environmental and Energy Law from American University Washington College of Law (2021), and was selected as part of that program to do an internship at the World Bank’s Doing Business Department.

Agustina also worked as Foreign Associate at Holland & Knight (June 2022- June 2023), where she was part of the Latin America practice area, advising on commercial and financial transactions for the local and international markets.

Since October 2023 she has been a founding and active member of the Uruguayan Association of Women in Energy (AUME), whose purpose is to generate a network of women in the energy sector in Uruguay, provide training on technical issues and softs skills, and contribute to the positioning of more women in leadership positions in the country.
