Alejandro Pintos is part of FERRERE's Litigation and Arbitration Department. His practice focuses on civil and commercial disputes and includes domestic and international arbitration.
In his practice area, Pintos advises banks, insurers, agribusinesses, and construction, industrial, retail and training companies.
He has broad experience in litigation deriving from termination of distribution and agency agreements, representing foreign clients.
He collaborates actively with the Corporate area, designing solutions for conflict prevention or better positioning of clients in the event of disputes.
As a practice related to his litigation activity, he has developed skills in the area of bankruptcy and insolvency.
He was ranked in Band 1 in Dispute Resolution in Chambers 2017. "He is profound in his analysis, very experienced and explains things really well." says the publication, and adds: "He is available, gives a good service and always tries to find the solution."
He is a professor of Procedural Law at the School of Law of Universidad Católica del Uruguay.
