Belén has broad experience in advising local and international companies in matters related to the incorporation of commercial companies, operation, corporate restructuring processes, mergers and acquisitions, transformations, shareholder agreements, dissolution and liquidation of companies. She regularly advises companies such as Ericsson, VALE, Unilever, Mosaic, Uber, JBS Leather, Roche, Grupo Bimbo, among others, in their daily operations and special projects.

She studied at the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of the Universidad Nacional de Asunción and graduated as a lawyer in 2019, being part of the honor roll of her class. Additionally, she graduated as notary and notary public from the same university in 2020 and as specialist in university didactics in 2021 from the Faculty of Philosophy of the Universidad Nacional de Asunción.

In 2023, she obtained a Master’s Degree in Law and Business (LL.M) with a specialization in Legal Technology at Bucerius Law School in collaboration with WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management in Germany.

During her LL.M., she was part of the dispute resolution team at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, advising clients in mass disputes arising from infringements of EU competition law regulations. She was also involved in the areas of corporate law (M&A and global transactions), competition (Merger Control and Multi Jurisdiction analysis) and environmental and real estate law.
