Carolina Piacenza participates in FERRERE’s Corporate Law and Corporate and Commercial teams. She advises both national and foreign companies established or about to be established in Uruguay. She is often consulted on corporate planning and compliance with requirements, rules and regulatory proceedings, and business strategy. Her experience includes the drafting and negotiation of share syndication agreements as well as agreements between shareholders and investors. She is distinguished for assisting the firm’s clients in due diligence procedures conducted prior to executing major transactions and mergers.

During 2011 Piacenza worked for the renowned European law firm of Gómez-Acebo & Pombo, at its Madrid, Spain, headquarters.

Over the last years, Piacenza has worked with the following clients Mitsui OSK, Abbott, Abbvie, Nordex, Yazaki, Discount Bank, Weyerhaeuser, Global Forest Partners, Sky Solar, Infocorp, Uber, Nestle, Reliance Industries, Nike, Directv, Hennes & Mauritz, Shell, Eastern Airlines, JetSmart Airlines, Vix Inc., Ilumno, Sanofi-aventis, Memory (Siigo), Syngenta, Bayer and Dufry, which she has professionally assisted in diverse areas.

Currently she teaches Corporations and Corporate Finances in ORT University.
