Cynthia’s practice focuses on advising clients on regulatory requirements for obtaining authorizations, permits, licenses and registrations with regulatory agencies for products including pharmaceutical specialties, medical devices, tobacco, cosmetics, household cleaning and personal hygiene products, foods, beverages, seeds, agrochemicals, vegetable and animal origin products, among others.
Her practice also involves advising clients on managing and protecting intellectual property rights, including trademarks, patents, industrial models and copyrights.
She also has experience working with regulatory authorities on matters of authorizations for marketing, advertising, promotion, data protection, and regulatory aspects of distribution, agency and representation agreements, imports and exports.
Before joining FERRERE Paraguay she worked at the General Industrial Property Office, in the National Intellectual Property Office (DINAPI), where she handled procedures for trademarks, patents, industrial drawings and models, geographical indications, copyrights, etc. She was also a member of a recognized boutique law firm specializing in intellectual property.
Her experience affords her broad knowledge of both the public and private sectors.
She earned her degree as attorney from Universidad Nacional de Asunción (Paraguay) in 2015, and a diploma in Intellectual Property Rights from Universidad Católica de Asunción (Paraguay) in 2019. She also completed a diploma in Regulatory Matters from Universidad Nacional de Asunción, in collaboration with the National Health Vigilance Office, in 2024.
Cynthia is a member of INTA. She has also been recognized by The Legal 500 in Intellectual Property.
