Diego Tamayo

Diego Tamayo is an associate at FERRERE Bolivia. His professional practice focuses on corporate advice to the firm’s clients, in addition to leading the pro bono advice program.

His day-to-day practice involves advising on corporate, governance and commercial matters. He is experienced in organizing and restructuring business companies, conducting complicated legal due diligence procedures and implementing corporate transactions.

Diego also has experience in regulatory analysis of current legal provisions in commercial, equality and diversity matters, geared to advising the firm’s clients from commercial and social standpoints.

He earned his degree as attorney with honors from Universidad Privada de Santa Cruz de la Sierra – UPSA (Bolivia) in 2020. He was awarded a fellowship by Fundación Carolina to do the Master’s Program in Social Legal Protection of Vulnerable Persons and Collectives at Universidad de Cádiz (Spain) in 2022. He completed a graduate program in Higher Education and University Teaching in 2021 at Universidad Privada Cumbre (Bolivia).

Diego is currently an instructor in the degree program in Law at Universidad Privada Boliviana - UPB. He did professional internships at Observatorio Andaluz de las Diversidades Sexogenéricas, Salud y Ciudadanía (DIVERSACI) and worked for over six years with a prestigious law firm in Bolivia.
