He has solid experience in judicial matters, providing strategic legal advice to companies and representing them in highly complex disputes.
In the judicial sphere he has represented clients in high profile ordinary, executory and litigious proceedings, including complex commercial disputes, international contract conflicts and claims for breach of obligations under administrative contracts. His approach is based on meticulous analysis of the law and identification of risks and contingencies, allowing him to design procedural strategies tailored to each conflict. He also stands out in negotiations and extrajudicial settlements, achieving significant agreements without the necessity of taking the judicial route, including successful negotiations with public entities and authorities.
In the labor area, he leads social benefits proceedings, structuring solid defenses to neutralize risks of unfounded claims and protecting companies from high economic impact contingencies. He also heads up representation in contentious tax proceedings, designing contingency plans to annul fines and penalties deriving from inspections.
In addition to his role in litigation, he advises companies on the implementation of internal policies and labor compliance frameworks, enhancing the prevention of sanctions and inspections. He also participates in mass corporate restructurings, optimizing company workforces so as to guarantee the operating stability of companies in the country.
Since 2022 he has been recognized by The Legal 500 in the Dispute Resolution and Labor and Employment areas.
He has completed coursework with honors and is now at the final thesis stage for obtaining his Master’s in Civil and Procedural Law at Universidad Autónoma Gabriel René Moreno (UAGRM). His additional training includes a Diploma in Civil Law and Procedural Law and a Diploma in Labor Law, both from Universidad del Valle (Univalle).
