Her practice focuses on Labor and Social Security Law, comprehensive advice to local and foreign companies, as well as labor litigation, individual and collective bargaining processes, contracts, and labor administration procedures.
She has participated in a variety of local and foreign company acquisition projects, in conducting comprehensive reviews of individual and collective labor, work safety and hygiene, social security and tax aspects prior to execution of purchase agreements, as well as post-closing advice.
She has broad experience in counseling major foreign companies on setting up business in Uruguay, covering prior advice, drafting of labor documents related to business establishment, advice on hiring, human resource and job safety policies, as well as ongoing assistance upon startup of operations.
She has considerable practice in litigation and in highly complex collective negotiations, company restructuring and decentralization processes, as well as in designing labor policies and remuneration schemes.
She earned her degree as attorney from Universidad de Montevideo (Uruguay) in December 2009. In 2019 she completed a post-graduate program in Applied Labor Law at the Graduate School of Universidad de Montevideo. In 2022 she obtained a Diploma in Blockchain and Digital Assets from the Universidad de Montevideo.
