Her practice area focuses on dispute resolution and litigation. Over the years, she has represented clients in diverse sectors – including agribusiness, banking, commercial and services – in a broad range of judicial processes, primarily on civil matters, in both ordinary and executive proceedings. She currently manages significant collections portfolios, both judicially and extrajudicially. She also has experience in family law matters, including divorces, inheritances and others.
She also practices in the corporate area, advising local and multinational companies on recurring issues of their day-to-day operations, such as incorporation of business companies, drafting of complex contracts, compliance with commercial and regulatory obligations, and negotiations with clients, suppliers and workers. In particular, she has provided specialized advice to companies in the agribusiness and banking sectors.
Laura has experience in complex merger and acquisition transactions, providing comprehensive support to clients, from the due diligence stage to contract negotiation and review.
Since 2021 she has been highlighted by The Legal 500 for her professional practice in dispute resolution.
Before joining FERRERE, she worked as associate at a major law firm in the country, and as in-house counsel at one of the most important banks in Bolivia.
