Laura Oliveros is a member of the FERRERE Real Estate and Corporate teams.
Her practice focuses mainly on advising on the development of real estate businesses, along with participating in agribusiness transactions and collaborating on financing projects with the FERRERE Banking and Finance team.
In her professional practice she has participated in numerous rural land transactions and real estate project transactions. In recent years she participated in the most important rural land purchase deals and mortgage guarantee transactions in Uruguay. Likewise, she has actively collaborated in due diligence procedures and has participated in concluding numerous real estate transactions, guarantees and corporate structurings, collaborating with the firm’s Company Law area.
Her practice areas also include Inheritance Law as well as estate division and restructuring of family businesses. She has experience in renewable energies, where she has participated in several wind and solar farm projects and in tax matters applicable to real estate businesses.
She studied law at Universidad de la República (Uruguay) and graduated as Notary Public in 2014. In 2020 she graduated as Master in Taxes at Universidad de Montevideo (Uruguay). She has participated in various academic, notarial and private law conferences and seminars. During 2021 she taught a course on Enforceable Promise to Purchase Law at Universidad de Montevideo.
