His practice focuses on strategic advice to local and international companies on commercial and corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, foreign investment, joint ventures, public procurement, and the legal implications of artificial intelligence on business.
He counsels leading companies in sectors such as agribusiness, energy, technology, industry, pharmaceuticals, and financial services, advising on both local business and highly complex cross-border transactions.
He has taken part in some of the most relevant deals in the market, including the joint venture between Grupo Los Lazos, Grupo Las Lomas and Grupo Internacional de Inversiones S.A. for the development of a steel plant in Paraguay. He also routinely advises companies such as Amazon, Cargill, Roche, Sanofi, Thyssenkrupp, Mosaic, BRF, Ambev Cervepar, and BASF, supporting them in the design and implementation of long-term legal strategies in the country.
Néstor served as managing partner of FERRERE Paraguay until 2023, leading the firm’s sustained growth and its consolidation as one of the most prestigious and professional law firms in the country. His leadership was marked by the promotion of a strong institutional culture with international standards, centered on excellence and innovation.
He holds a law degree from Universidad Católica de Asunción and an LL.M. in International Business Transactions and Intellectual Property from The George Washington University. He also completed a postgraduate program in Artificial Intelligence for Business at ESADE Business School in Spain.
Nestor is an active member of the International Bar Association (IBA) and frequently speaks at regional forums on foreign investment, legal innovation, and new technologies.
He regularly publishes legal analysis and commentary, addressing the evolving legal and business landscape in Paraguay and Latin America.
