His regular practice involves advising local and international companies on financial and commercial transactions, including share purchases and sales, shareholder agreements, loans, guarantees, project financing, and civil and commercial contracts in general.

He has participated in numerous foreign investment and public works projects, as well as in mergers and acquisitions (locally and internationally). He has also worked on the drafting of bills of law and decrees in civil, forestry, mining, natural gas and water concession areas.

He teaches Obligations, Civil Liability and Special Contracts Law at Universidad de la República (Uruguay). He has published various articles in his area of specialization and has participated as speaker in academic conferences, congresses and seminars on civil and commercial law subjects.
