His practice focuses on advising national and international clients on corporate and commercial legal matters. As part of his practice, he is involved on a daily basis in matters related to corporate advice, real estate, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and commercial contracts.

In addition, Santiago has experience in the planning and development of infrastructure projects, advising Paraguayan and international clients in Public Private Partnership projects and under Law 5074 (turn-key projects) in Paraguay.

Before joining FERRERE, he worked as a clerk in Paraguay’s Judiciary, serving in that capacity at the Civil and Commercial Court of First Instance Term Eleven of Asunción, and the Civil and Commercial Court of Appeals, Third Chamber of Asunción, where he was in charge of the study and resolution of complex commercial and civil cases.

Santiago completed his law degree with emphasis in Private Law at the School of Legal and Diplomatic Sciences of Universidad Católica Nuestra Señora de la Asunción (Paraguay) in 2023.
