Magali Fernández leads FERRERE’s company law and corporate governance practice in Paraguay.

With solid training in company law and a practical, client-oriented approach, she has advised numerous local and international companies in diverse sectors on all phases of their lifecycle, from company organization to negotiation of shareholder agreements, restructuring, investments, capitalization, mergers and acquisitions, and company dissolution.

Magali has advised large multinationals with operations in Paraguay. Such international clients include Ericsson, VALE, Uber, Millicom (TIGO), JBS Leather, among others.

With a view to offering clients comprehensive service, Magali collaborates actively with the Corporate, Tax and other areas of the firm, designing effective solutions tailored to the needs of each client, on matters such as transactions, due diligence procedures, regulatory approvals, debt restructuring, capitalizations, share purchases, capital increases, and corporate restructuring.

In addition to her main practice, Magali previously garnered knowledge and experience in other areas of the law, such as Intellectual Property and Children and Adolescents law.

She graduated as attorney from Universidad Nacional de Asunción (Paraguay) in 2017. As a law student, Magali participated in a variety of academic and social activities. She has a Specialization in Taxes and Procedures from Instituto Superior de Formación Tributaria y Empresarial (FOTRIEM).
