FERRERE advised Barentz on the acquisition of Paraguayan company Insuquim, a well-known supplier of specialty chemicals and ingredients.
Barentz is a global leader in the supply of specialty ingredients and solutions. The company supplies specialty ingredients from leading manufacturers around the world from its cutting-edge custom formulation centers and application laboratories in EMEA, the Americas and Asia-Pacific.

Insuquim is known as one of the leading distributors of specialty ingredients in Paraguay, supplying the industrial, pharmaceutical, human nutrition and personal care markets. This acquisition expands Barentz's presence in Paraguay, complements Barentz's strong network throughout South America and is expected to accelerate growth in local markets with a complementary and expanded portfolio of specialty ingredients.

FERRERE was in charge of structuring and negotiating the transaction, taking special care of the complexities of a highly regulated market at the local level.
