FERRERE received three nominations for the IFLR Americas Awards 2025, organized by International Financial Law Review (IFLR), the renowned legal publication specializing in financial and corporate law.
To start, the firm has been shortlisted for “Uruguay Firm of the Year,” an award it won in 2020, 2021 and 2022.
Secondly, FERRERE was nominated in the “Deal of the Year: Private Equity” category, for its advice to Mill Point Capital on the acquisition of Imbera Uruguay. In the context of this global transaction, FERRERE conducted the due diligence on the local company and advised on drafting and negotiating the transaction documents.
Finally, among individual recognitions, the FERRERE corporate team attorney Clara Porro was nominated as “Rising Star” in Latin America. The shortlist includes only four other practitioners for the entire region.
At this year’s awards ceremony, to be held on May 14 in New York, IFLR will be recognizing law firms, teams and practitioners for their performance over the course of the year and for their innovative approach to the most important multijurisdictional transactions in the Latin American and United States markets.
