The renowned international publication Latin Lawyer, together with the Cyrus R. Vance Center for International Justice, once again recognized FERRERE as a “Leading Light” for the pro bono work carried out at its Uruguayan offices.
FERRERE is part of a select list of law firms that make a difference in strengthening the pro bono culture in the different jurisdictions of Latin America. These firms were selected based on the strategies, programs and actions reported in the latest pro bono survey conducted by Latin Lawyer, with input from the Cyrus R. Vance Center and clearing houses in the region.
FERRERE is a signatory of the Pro Bono Declaration for the Americas (PBDA), and accumulates more than 2,000 hours per year of pro bono work among the firm's three jurisdictions in which it is present: Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay. To this end, it implements these actions as an integral part of the profession's commitments, recognizing those who engage in them.
